Top of the league for vocational high schools and engineering institutes: Lorraine

Updated on 2010-03-12

At every level of the education and training cycle, from nursery school to higher education, Lorraine offers a remarkably dense range of educational facilities and ranks among the top French regions. And for vocational high schools and engineering institutes, Lorraine is ahead of all the other regions.

Source and methodology: Ranking drawn up by L'Internaute Magazine using the INSEE 2008 amenities survey which gives precise figures for the amenities in each region every year. The figures have been cross-referenced with the last population census carried out in 2007 to obtain the ratio of amenities per inhabitant (published on 09/03/2010).
