Plastifibre gives new life to the wood industry in Lorraine

Plastifibre (Granges-sur-Vologne, Vosges) produces a wood-composite material containing up to 80% wood (in granular form) and is made for building, transport and interior cladding. In 2010, the Lorraine Materials Fund (FLM) gave €500k to Plastifibre aimed at the French, European and North American markets. Currently employing around ten people, about twenty jobs are planned for the next three years.
