Renewable energy: a biomass power plant for the Electricity Factory in Metz

The Electricity Factory in Metz (UEM) will inaugurate in August 2012 in Chambière in Moselle (Lorraine) a biomass power plant (€50m invested) to replace the current coal plant. It will consume 100000t of wood falls per annum, from forests in a 150km radius, replacing over 23000t of coal.
