The Grande Région, future polycentric trans-border metropolitan region?

Presiding over the Grande Région until 2012, Lorraine wants to accelerate the development of scientific and university collaborations to reinforce competitiveness through innovation. The Grande Région is also set on transforming itself into a polycentric trans-border metropolitan region (RMPT) to reinforce its competitiveness in Europe.
